Having good negotiation skills is important for resolving conflicts and reconciling differences of interest in business, politics, and everyday life.<\/p>\n<h4>Lesson 19: Business Idioms &#8211; Part 2<\/h4>\n<p>Today&#8217;s lesson will teach you 12 more idioms related to business. Let me remind you of the steps for our idioms lessons&#8230;<\/p>\n<h4>Lesson 20: Progress Test 2<\/h4>\n<p>Review and practice the vocabulary and phrases from Lessons 11-19.<\/p>\n<h4>Lesson 21: Management and HR<\/h4>\n<p>A <strong>manager <\/strong>supervises a group or team of people. There are many different <strong>industries <\/strong>(areas of activity) that manufacture products. Here are a few examples.<\/p>\n<h4>Lesson 26: Pricing and Retail<\/h4>\n<p><strong>Retailers <\/strong>are the stores that sell products directly to the <strong>consumers <\/strong>or <strong>end users <\/strong>(the regular people who buy and use the items).\u00a0There are different kinds of retailers.<\/p>\n<h4>Lesson 27: Sales and Customer service<\/h4>\n<p>A person who works in sales can be called a <strong>salesperson, salesman\/saleswoman, <\/strong>or <strong>sales representative <\/strong>(<strong>sales rep <\/strong>for short). In this lesson, we&#8217;ll learn phrases for selling products and helping customers.<\/p>\n<h4>Lesson 28: Safety and Insurance<\/h4>\n<p>Workers in many jobs deal with <strong>hazards <\/strong>(dangers), so it\u2019s important to have good safety practices. In this lesson, we\u2019ll learn about possible dangers in the workplace and how workers can protect themselves from <strong>injury <\/strong>(being hurt) and <strong>illness <\/strong>(becoming sick).<\/p>\n<h4>Lesson 29: Business Idioms &#8211; Part 3<\/h4>\n<p>Let&#8217;s learn more business idioms! You\u2019ll need to interact with the idioms by guessing their meanings from the context. Choose the option that you think is the best definition for the idiom, and then wait for the answer to find out if you were correct.<\/p>\n<h4>Lesson 30: Progress Test 3<\/h4>\n<p>Review and practice the vocabulary and phrases from Lessons 21-29.<\/p>\n<h4>Lesson 31: Computers and IT<\/h4>\n<p>Learn vocabulary related to computers, programs, and technical problems.<\/p>\n<h4>Lesson 32: Medical and Dental English<\/h4>\n<p>Today\u2019s lesson is an overview of vocabulary used in <strong>medicine and dentistry<\/strong>.
